A Place Where the Beer Flows Like Wine...

"Yo, I heard you joined the blogosphere." Thats what Jeff "Jings" McCune said to me jokingly at Cecil about 3 years ago. I didn't think that would ever happen. But here I am, joining the blogosphere like anyone really cares...

So, I recently went up to New York and Philadelphia for about a month. While I was there, however, I was informed that a few people had been let go from my place of work. I was also informed that I was one of them. I was no longer "economically viable." So, here I am. Back in Richmond with no job, a little bit of money I have saved, no motivation to start making 8 dollars an hour at some place that I'm sure will make me hate my life, and daylight savings just showed up and decided to make it seem like its 11pm when its really 6:30. Not to mention anything political or otherwise thats happening right now. And, on top of that, winter is coming up. Everyone knows there is absolutely nothing good about winter. Its a fact.

Anyway, I went over to my friend Michael Bost's house last night and had a conversation that went exactly as follows.

Or at least pretty close to that. We decided to drive cross country though. Here is a rough idea of where we will be going.

Starting in Richmond we'll be going in this order, Kettering, OH, Chicago, IL, Lincoln, NE, Denver CO, Salt Lake City UT, Las Vegas, NV, Los Angeles, CA, Tijuana, Mexico, Phoenix, AZ, El Paso TX, Austin, TX, New Orleans, LA, Tallahassee, FL, Savannah, GA. Then back to Richmond.

This thing is really just to help me kill time in the car, remember the trip and pretend that people care about what I'm doing. I'm going to try to update this whenever we find free internet or time to kill. I have no idea when that may be, we're just kind of winging it. Oh yeah, and we leave tomorrow. Be back in about 6,250 miles.
